Brief
One of the fundamental tasks of communication designers is to explain complex information over time. Using time and motion, explain the interaction design principle of affordances to a non-design audience.

Concepting
My conceptual process for this project involved researching the history of the concept of affordances in design and learning about how they show up differently in physical and digital spaces. I brainstormed different clear and simple examples of these signifiers to decide what would best serve to communicate the idea and then built the video concept and storyline around the most concise examples.

Storyboarding
I experimented through storyboarding with different character and frame visualizations and wrote multiple versions of the script to test out communications styles before moving into After Effects.
